Area description

La Torre Golf Resort on the Costa Calida in Murcia is one of the most beautiful regions of Spain.  It is known as the 'warm coast' and enjoys a very pleasant climate all year round with over 320 days of sunshine.  The driving is relaxed and easy with the historic city of Murcia and the Roman city of Cartagena only a short drive away.  Also, only 10/15 minutes away you have the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor, sparated from the Mediterranean by a strip of sand 22 km long creating the shallow, warm lagoon - perfect!  There are over 44 km of beaches which are far from crowded.  Mar Menor is an excellent location for all types of water sports, as well as an ideal place for the kids.  The airport of Mucia San Javier is just 15 minutes drive from La Torre with Alicante 45 minutes.  San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagan are renown for their salt marshes and man-made 'pans' where salt is harvested, also an excellent location for watching a variety of migratory birds.

Property Description

A comfortable air conditioned and centrally heated self-catering ground floor apartment situated on the stunning Polaris World 5* La Torre Golf Resort suitable for both the golfer and family all year.  The apartment was completed in May 2007 and has been furnished to a high standard.  It enjoys spacious living/dining room with patio doors leading to the terrace and garden, a fully equippped kitchen, two double bedrooms and a spacious contemporary bathroom with bath and shower.  The nearest swimming pool is only seconds away, and the club house, town centre and supermarket a few minutes stroll.  La Torre, part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail, is a circuit which will boast 9 courses within a radius of 25 km. Four courses are already up and running (La Torre, El Valle, Mar Menor and Hacienda Riquelme).  Each course offers differenct characteristics and levels of play, and a free bus service runs between them.  In addition the area has many other championship courses within a short drive. The La Torre Golf Resort boasts a superb 18 hole golf course, driving range, club house, 5* Hotel, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlour, hair and beauty salon, supermarket (which will deliver), travel agency (offering various excursions), bank, health centre and medical centre.  The Resort has two 'gated' entrances and 24 hour security.  It is set in stunning landscaped gardens with beautiful fountains and water features.  There are 12 communal swimming pools (some with jacuzzi areas), two tennis courts and several children's play areas.  There is also internet access on site.  Guests staying on La Torre are also able to use the facilities at other Polaris World resorts and there is a free bus service which runs between them.

PAYMENT - Full payment will be due no later than 6 weeks prior to departure. For last minute bookings (under 6 weeks) full payment will be required immediately together with the reservaton/security deposit. Payment by cheque or bank transfer.

Deposits

RESERVATION/SECURITY DEPOSIT of £100 payable on booking to cover cancellation, breakages or damage to the property, fixtures of fittings. The booking will not be confirmed until the deposit has been received, and the deposit will be returned as soon as the property has been checked following departure.

Other fees

The apartment is professionally cleaned between each let and there is a one off charge of 70 euros to cover the cleaning and linen.
